We are excited to offer the Summer Band and Lesson Program again this year! We have seen tremendous growth from your young musicians and are eager to continue working with them in the Pleasant Valley Band program. Participation in the summer band program is a great way for your student to continue her/his musical development in order to maintain the level of musicianship and skill development that she/he has already achieved.
This year's Summer Band and Lesson program will begin on Tuesday, June 8 and continue through Thursday, July 1, with the Ice Cream Social Concert on the evening of July 1. Students have the opportunity to participate in the band ensemble, lessons, or both.
6th Grade Band (current 6th grade students): practices at 9:00am-9:45am on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays in the PV High School Band room.
7th/8th Grade Band (current 7th & 8th grade students): practices at 10:00am-10:45am on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays in the PV High School Band room.
Lessons: One 15-minute individual lesson per week (total of 4 lessons) scheduled anytime between 8:00am-12:00pm. All lessons are at Pleasant Valley High School on Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays and can be done in-person or virtually. A lesson schedule will be distributed prior to the end of the year.
The registration fee is $25.00 for band and $25.00 for lessons.
